The HANDS IDS library holds a rich and extensive collection of print and digital resources-including Books, Journals, Magazine and digital online databases. These collections support students in learning and undertaking research activities, covering the full range of academic subjects. Administered by an online system, students and faculty can inquire about availability of books and reserve books without physically visiting the library. Library also has a scholar corner for researchers. The HANDS IDS library is a place to explore new horizons, a place to discover passion and a place to respond to world-challenges. Library flexible spaces offer an enabling environment to support students or researcher’s needs. Library has seven workstations through which students can access an unlimited number of digital resources. Study spaces and computers are readily available, whereby students can make the most of their time. The HANDS IDS continually invests in library to create the right study environment for students.

Computer Lab

The HANDS IDS has a fully equipped IT lab that serves as a comprehensive technological hub for students and faculty. It features a range of modern computing resources, including up-to-date computers, software, peripherals, and also provide high-speed internet connectivity with latest generation, enabling students to access online resources and collaborate effectively. A well-equipped IT lab enhances educational experiences, fosters skill development, and prepares students for real-world technology challenges.

The HANDS-IDS has an indoor-outdoor play area in an institute which provides students with a dynamic space for physical activity, relaxation, and social interaction. It typically includes a mix of indoor facilities like gyms, game rooms, and recreational spaces, along with outdoor amenities such as sports fields, courts, and green spaces. This multifunctional area promotes a healthy lifestyle, stress relief, and a sense of community among students.

Girl’s Common Room (GCR)

A girls’ common room is a designated space within The HANDS IDS, where female students and staff can gather, relax, study, and socialize. It serves as a place for students to bond, share experiences, and build friendships in a comfortable and supportive environment. Common room facilities may include seating areas, properly ventilated room, and well- lit, neat and clean to provide a friendly ambience. It’s an essential space for fostering a sense of community among female students and staff.
