Scholarships and Financial Aid:

The HANDS IDS not only encourages excellence but also rewards high achieving students in realizing their goals of a quality higher education by offering a number of merit-cum-need based scholarships, to actively promote a culture of merit in the country and contribute to the overall prosperity of the society. Eligible candidates are carefully reviewed by Scholarship Evaluation Committee based on a broad set of criteria including academic standing, previous qualifications, academic interests, career goals, consistency of choices, participation in social activities, extra-curricular activities and other professional credentials of the candidate. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of overall merit assessed at the time of admission. The HANDS IDS ensures that no deserving student is denied educational facilities due to inadequate financial resources.

Within this context, HANDS-IDS offers various financial incentives through HANDS-IDS scholarship policy by the following schemes to assist the needy cum talented students:

1. HANDS-IDS advance merit scholarship / Tuition Fee Waiver (Full and Partial)

Under Advance Merit Scholarship Policy, HANDS-IDS offers 75% tuition fee waiver/concession for the first semester, to top three toppers amongst all Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE). This scholarship will be for all programs.

HANDS-IDS also offers 75% tuition fee waiver/concession to the students achieving minimum 02 A’s in A Levels. Eligible students have to produce equivalence certificate issued from the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC). For continuation of scholarship in the subsequent semesters the students will be required to achieve a GPA of at least 3.75.

2. HANDS-IDS Other Scholarships

• Financial Aid:

It awards financial aid to more than 10% of the total enrolled students.

• HANDS-IDS need based financial grant

Through this scheme HANDS-IDS funds in each semester on need base ranging from 25 to 50% of tuition fee discount.

• HANDS-IDS employee concession

HANDS-IDS grants 50% tuition fee discount to HANDS and HANDS-IDS Employees and their children.
