The Faculty of Management and Development Sciences focuses on education of management and development. The approach to pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory. The Faculty of Management and Development Sciences encourages the students to engage in interdisciplinary research experience including knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative social research; policy analysis and discourse analysis.

The HANDS IDS will offer Degree programs in Department of Business Administration, Department of Development Studies and College of Nursing. In due course of time, it would also offer Masters, M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs in different disciplines and encourage study and research in the emerging field of community service and sustainability.
