About HANDS-IDS

HANDS Institute of Development Studies (HANDS-IDS) was established on 4 September 2023, chartered by the Government of Sindh, and granted No Objection Certificate (NoC) by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on 22 January 2024. The Institute operates under the leadership of Chancellor Prof. (Emeritus) Dr. Abdul Ghaffar Billoo and Rector Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Abuzar Wajidi. Their collective vision emphasizes academic excellence, research-driven innovation, and the promotion of development-oriented and business education aligned with societal and industry needs.
