The HANDS Institute of Development Studies (HANDS-IDS) and the Pakistan Legal United Society (PLUS) and have joined forces through a powerful Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to champion equity, justice, and inclusive development. Led by Advocate Altaf Hussain Khoso, PLUS brings its expertise in pro bono legal aid, having empowered over 350 cases addressing domestic violence, child marriage, and minority rights, while supporting 300+ persons with disabilities (PWDs). This strategic partnership aims to drive community-driven research, legal advocacy, and academic exchange, with a special focus on empowering PWDs and aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Expect groundbreaking joint research, workshops on legal rights, student internships in Sukkur, Hyderabad, and Karachi, and vibrant public awareness campaigns. On behalf of HANDS IDS Prof (Meritorious) Dr. Abuzar Wajidi signed the MoU. The Registrar HANDS IDS Mr. Syed Nasir Mirza and Associate Professor and Director ORIC were also present at MoU signing ceremony.

Together, PLUS and HANDS-IDS are building a more inclusive, just, and sustainable future.
