In collaboration with the HANDS Institute of Development Studies, Department of Botany, and Institute of Environmental Studies, the University of Karachi is organizing an international conference on “Climate Change Mitigation and Environmental Amelioration through Plants and Sustainable Practices” on 11th—13th Feb 2025. Within this context, the 3rd preparatory meeting was held at HANDS-IDS premises on 4th December which focused on progress updates from the conveners, organizers, and secretaries. Key discussions included:

1. Task progress of each committee

2. Updates on funding agencies and progress
3. Abstract submission status
4. Formation of WhatsApp groups for coordination
